All Lives are Enriched by the Beauty of Nature.
Eastern Iowa Outdoors Foundation brings together local leadership, strategic partnerships, and community investment to protect land, expand public access, and create lasting benefits for future generations.
Turning Opportunity Into Public Access
EIOF brings together the funding, partners, and long-term stewards needed to turn land opportunities into protected places for everyone to enjoy.
Protecting Lands at Central Park, Iowa
This project protects habitat, restores native prairie, and expands public access around one of the area’s most recognizable historic landmarks.
Have a Land Opportunity?
Know a property to expand public access or protect an important area? EIOF can help evaluate the opportunity and bring the right partners to the table.
Conservation Doesn't Happen by Chance.
The best opportunities do not wait. When an important property becomes available, there is often only a short window to act. Acquiring land, coordinating partners, securing funding, and planning for long-term stewardship takes leadership.
Eastern Iowa Outdoors Foundation serves as that catalyst—connecting landowners, conservation organizations, public agencies, businesses, and private donors to move promising opportunities from possibility to lasting public access

CREATE LASTING IMPACT
“Land is permanently protected, restored where needed, and made available for future generations to enjoy.”
